An interesting novelty from the area of S. Margherita di Pula, where for many years now the Siclari family have owned a few acres of land.
The decision to turn it into a vineyard dates back to 1996, and these wines of the scorching 2003 vintage represent the company’s market debut.
The “market segment” they address (judging by the splendid labels, the brochure, the prices) is certainly upmarket, and in some cases there’s even too much on the plate, but luckily there is no lack of talent, as we will go on to prove.
Forthcoming, in addition to the ones reviewed here, are other wines: the rosé Bithia and the passito Aristeo
